H & W Design Studio is a two person workshop in East Tennessee. What started as a laser cutter in the corner of the shop turned into a small business built around wood, patience and a lot of sawdust.
We design each piece ourselves, cut and stain every layer by hand, and stay in touch while a custom project is on the bench. If you can picture it, we will do our best to build it.

Step 1We draw it out
Every piece starts as a sketch and a cut file, sized to the wall or shelf it is headed for.

We cut and stain
Layers are cut on the laser, sanded by hand, then stained one at a time and stacked into the scene.

We pack it safe
Each finished piece is wrapped, boxed and sent out with tracking so it arrives the way it left the bench.
